I have taken this photo in the Dolomites at Tre Cime di Lavaredo in 2026.

A lone figure moves steadily along the sharp edge of a snow-covered ridge, each step carved into a world of silence and light. The vast white expanse stretches endlessly, broken only by the jagged peaks rising in the distance. Here, every movement feels deliberate, every breath meaningful, as if the mountain itself is watching.

The wind leaves no visible trace, yet its presence is felt in the sculpted snow, in the delicate curves and shadows that shape the ridge. The climber becomes small against the immensity, yet somehow stronger within it—drawn forward by something deeper than the summit itself.
